*update* fnatic folds COD4?

It is a very bad day for the Call of Duty 4 scene. In the last few weeks we saw organisations such as SpeedLink, SK-Gaming, MYM and Oslo Lions removing its COD4 team. Today, the rumour goes that Sweden fnatic has also dropped its COD4 team.

Nothing has been announced or confirmed, fnatic staff has been avoiding the question, but fnatic players have detagged on their xfire and the word on mIRC is spreading fast. This might be a result of the team's poor performance at the latest summer LANs, as they didn't manage to get Top3 at any summer event. We will keep you updated!

*UPDATE* fnatic did not fold its COD4 team. However, they have released star sniper Sweden Martin 'MintR' Röjder and Sweden Rickard 'zEm' Intveld from their services. They will announce updates shortly.

seems silly all these 'top' organisations removing their teams. glad to see fnatic didn't do the same.

seems like MYM and SK just remove teams based on results.
